Cancellation of Admission 
 
 
Strategic Retail announces that, following the appointment of administrators to 
three of its trading subsidiaries, the liquidation of a dormant fourth 
subsidiary and the disposal of certain assets, as announced on 23 December 2008, 
the Board has continued to review the options available to the Company. 
Following discussions with certain major creditors and shareholders, the Board 
has now resolved to commence insolvency proceedings in the near future. 
Shareholders will be provided with further information at that time. 
 
 
As the Company's ordinary shares have been suspended from trading for a period 
of six months, it is expected that the admission of the Company's ordinary 
shares to trading on AIM will be cancelled at 7am on Monday, 15 June 2009.
