Tekcapital Announces Professor Joseph D. Ben-Dak Joins Science
Advisory Board
- Professor Ben-Dak's addition to the Board provides significant
expertise
for the evaluation and transfer of Low Carbon Technologies -
Tekcapital plc (AIM: TEK), an international provider of
technology and IP services, is pleased to announce that Professor
Joseph D. Ben-Dak has joined the Company's Science Advisory
Board.
Tekcapital's Science Advisory Board now comprises 27 expert
science advisors from a range of academic and professional
backgrounds. Tekcapital's science advisers evaluate the scientific
merit of technology acquisition opportunities for its clients.
Professor Ben-Dak brings with him many years of experience in
assessing low carbon technologies, alternative technologies
formative evaluation and facilitating technology transfers. Prior
to joining Tekcapital's Science Advisory Board he served with the
United Nations as Principal Advisor to the Secretary General
(Science and Technology). Since 1991 he has served as the founder
and Chief of the UN Global Technologies Group and from 2000 onward
as a senior consultant in Sustainability, Global Climate Change and
related issues. His experience also includes serving as a Professor
in Science policy and Communications at Sao Paulo and Lund
Universities, senior expert at KAIST (Korea) and MITI-MITE (Japan)
and key industry positions in 12 countries.
Commenting on the appointment Dr. Clifford M. Gross, Executive
Chairman of Tekcapital said:
