                          Interim Management Statement 
 
Trafficmaster Plc, the leading supplier of intelligent driving services, today 
issues its Interim Management Statement covering the period from 1 January 2010 
to date. 
 
Trading update 
Trafficmaster has made a solid start to the year and remains on track to deliver 
against expectations for 2010. Overall revenues to the end of April were 5% 
ahead of the same period last year. 
Business Services 
In the US our fleet tracking business Teletrac had a first quarter where a 
significant number of customers extended the time taken over procurement 
decisions. However our National Accounts team continued its success with larger 
accounts, and we were pleased to be selected by Jack Cooper Transport for a 1000 
vehicle solution. In the UK Fleet Director continues to perform to plan with a 
healthy sales pipeline and increased unit volumes from our partnership with 
Citroen. 
The integration of FMS, our recent acquisition, is proceeding well with the 
business performing in line with expectations. 
Overall, Business Services revenues were up 18% year-on-year to the end of 
April. On an organic constant currency basis, revenues were 10% ahead to the end 
of April. 
Consumer Services 
Trading conditions in our consumer markets remain difficult and we are not 
seeing a significant increase in new automotive sales which would support 
revenue growth. Overall Consumer Services revenues were 23% down year-on-year 
caused mainly by the timing of project-related revenue. We continue to manage 
the cost base of the business very tightly to mitigate the impact of revenue 
shortfalls on profitability. 
 
Tony Eales, Chief Executive Officer, commented "Momentum in Business Services 
has improved, and we are pleased with the performance to date. Our Consumer 
Services businesses continue to face challenges and we are focusing hard on 
managing these activities in a depressed market. Overall, the balance of our 
businesses and the growing pipeline of sales opportunities should allow us to 
deliver against our expectations in 2010". 
 
Annual General Meeting 
The company's Annual General Meeting will take place at 12 noon on Monday June 
28th at the company's registered office at Martell House, University Way, 
Cranfield, Bedfordshire MK43 0TR.
