AWARD UNDER THE VALUE CREATION SYNERGY PLAN

TUI Travel PLC announces that each of the following Directors:

Peter Long
Paul Bowtell
William Waggott
Christoph Mueller
Volker Bottcher
Johan Lundgren

have received a single award under the Value Creation Synergy Plan ("the Plan").
They will receive no further awards under the Plan. Each award consists of a
combination of (i) cash; and (ii) shares ("the Shares Element").

Date of award: 15 February 2008

The value of the Shares Element relating to the awards made is:

Vesting:

Vesting of the awards is as follows:

   *50% of the Shares Element will vest as soon as practicable after 30
    September 2008; and
   *50% of the Shares Element will vest as soon as practicable after 30
    September 2009.

The date on which vesting of each tranche occurs is a "Tranche Date".

On each Tranche Date, the number of shares which vest shall be determined by
dividing the monetary value of the vested proportion of the award by the
middle-market quotation of the Company's shares for the dealing day immediately
preceding the Tranche Date.

No shares will be released until the end of the three-year period following the
date of award.

The vesting and subsequent release of the shares subject to the Shares Element
is subject to the achievement of annual and three-year performance conditions
relating to the achievement of synergy benefits and improvement in margins.

The awards were made at no cost to the directors.
