On 10 June 2009, Peter Long (Chief Executive of TUI Travel PLC) sold 443,894 
ordinary shares at 251.28 pence per share. Following the sale, Peter Long 
retains a personal shareholding of 2,402,375 ordinary shares. 
 
 
As a consequence of consistently electing to defer the maximum entitlement of 
his annual performance bonus award into shares (which is 50% of the annual 
performance bonus) under the Deferred Annual Bonus Scheme (DABS) since its 
inception in 2005 and successful participation in the Performance Share Plan 
(PSP) and the Value Creation Synergy Plan (VCSP), he retains a further interest 
in 4,358,966 unvested shares. 
 
 
He remains committed to retaining a minimum personal shareholding of around
