DIRECTORATE CHANGE

TUI Travel PLC announces that Clare Chapman has stepped down from the Board with effect from today following her appointment as Group People Director of BT Group PLC. Clare has been a Non-Executive Director of the Company since it was formed in September 2007 when First Choice Holidays PLC merged with the Tourism Division of TUI AG and is the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee. Clare was previously a Non-Executive Director of First Choice Holidays PLC.

Following Clare's resignation, Bill Dalton has been appointed Chairman of the Remuneration Committee.

Sir Michael Hodgkinson, Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Director commented:

"Clare has been a much valued member of the Board, both at First Choice and TUI Travel and the Board would like to thank her for the significant contribution she has made over the years. We are sorry that she had decided to step down from the Board given her other commitments and wish her every success in her new role."
