In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6,
Utilico Investment Trust PLC is required to notify the market of the following:

Utilico Investment Trust PLC issued share capital consists of 64,706,093
ordinary shares with a nominal value of 1.5625 pence each, with voting rights. 
Utilico Investment Trust PLC does not hold any shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Utilico Investment Trust PLC is
64,706,093.

The above figure of 64,706,093 shares may be used by shareholders as the
denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are
required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Utilico
Investment Trust PLC under the Financial Service Authority's Disclosure and
Transparency Rules.
