                 INTERESTS OF DIRECTOR/SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDER

The  Company today received notification that, following the sale of 3,000,000
ordinary  shares  in the Company on 8 May 1998 at a price of 102p  per  share,
Cyrus  Holdings  Limited no longer has a notifiable interest in  the  Company.
Cyrus Holdings is owned by a family trust of which Farad Azima, a director  of
the  Company,  is a beneficiary.  Following this transaction,  Cyrus  Holdings
holds 7,000,000 ordinary shares.
