Financial review of the Company by Burnbrae Limited ("Burnbrae") and further
investment

The Directors of Wigmore Group are pleased to announce that pursuant to its
announcement on 24 August 2004, Burnbrae has now completed its financial review
of the Company and is satisfied with the results. Accordingly, the second
tranche of #400,000 of the convertible redeemable unsecured loan note has now
been received by the Company.  Further, Burnbrae has agreed to participate in a
placing by the Company of its ordinary shares which will replace the
underwritten rights issue element of the refinancing package announced by the
Company on 7 July 2004.

Completion of the placing and the conversion rights attaching to the loan note
are   conditional upon shareholder approval and further details will be set out
in the circular to be sent to shareholders shortly. The aggregate of Burnbrae's
participation in the placing and the #500,000 invested under the loan note,
which is completed today, will not be less than its full underwriting commitment
in the rights issue.
