Holopack, will discuss "Key Factors to Look for in an
Environmental Monitoring System" on Wednesday, February 26 from 2:15–3:00 pm
(14.15–15.00). Dr. Overbeeke will talk about the questions Holopack
asked in the course of evaluating a new laboratory Environmental
Monitoring system and how they selected a system that will impact
their business for years to come.
Dr. Daniela Jansen, Product
Marketing Manager, Accelrys, will present on "Considerations for
Mobile Initiatives from Research to Manufacturing" on
Wednesday, February 26 from 2:15–3:00
pm. (14.15–15.00). This presentation will address the use of small
mobile devices such as tablets and mobile phones for data capture
and workflow execution in the lab. Customer insights and case
studies will demonstrate the benefits of purpose-built mobile apps
in enabling scientists to work more intuitively, efficiently and
productively in the lab.
Accelrys is also hosting two roundtable discussions on the topic
of "SHERPA ̶ A New Sanofi-Aventis R&D Service to Support
Drug Discovery Data Exchange with External Partners." The
roundtables will take place on Tuesday,
February 25 from 5:50–6:30 pm (17.50–18.30) and on
Wednesday, February 26 from 3:00–4:40
pm (15.00–16.40). Marie-Pierre
Fialon, LGCR Data Management, Project User Leader,
Sanofi-Aventis, will describe Sanofi's Share Drug Discovery Data
with External Partners (SHERPA) service, a project launched in 2012
with the objective of fostering open innovation through
externalized research at Sanofi.
During both roundtables, Fred
Bost, Director Product Management, Accelrys, will provide
additional details on Accelrys' externalized collaboration
initiative supporting the SHERPA service and will discuss its
recent evolution into ScienceCloud by Accelrys. ScienceCloud is a
new SaaS-based information management and collaboration workspace
that improves operational excellence in building and sharing
project information by providing new mobile applications and social
communication capabilities.
The SHERPA service, which is dramatically accelerating Sanofi's
collaboration with external partners, received the first Accelrys
