Champps Entertainment, Inc. (Nasdaq:CMPP), owner and operator of Champps restaurants nationwide, announces their 5th annual Chicago land golf tournament on behalf of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The event will be held on Monday, August 8, 2005, at the Englewood Resort and Spa in Itasca, Ill. All five Chicago-area Champps Americana restaurants (Lincolnshire, Lombard, Orland Park, Schaumburg, and Skokie) will participate in this event, which will have over 150 golfers and volunteers. The winning foursome will each be awarded prizes courtesy of Champps. An awards ceremony will be held immediately following the tournament at the Champps Americana restaurant in Schaumburg, Ill., at 955 East Golf Road, where a check for $5,000.00 will be presented to a Make-A-Wish Foundation representative.
