Champps Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: CMPP) is pleased to announce the promotion of Angie Simmons to Vice President, Training & People Development and Tim Johnson to Vice President, Purchasing & Beverage. Ms. Simmons has been with Champps for nine years. She started her career as a host at Champps in 1997 and since that time, has held various field and corporate positions, most recently as Director of Training. She will assume additional human resource responsibilities in her new role. Mr. Johnson has been with Champps since 2000. Prior to his joining Champps as the Director of Purchasing & Beverage, Mr. Johnson held similar positions at Gilbert Robinson (Houlihan's) and Applebee's, and at Seagram and Jim Beam in sales and marketing positions.
