Grill Concepts Opens Daily Grill Restaurant in Santa Monica's Colorado Center LOS ANGELES, April 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Grill Concepts, Inc. (NASDAQ:GRILE) today announced the grand opening of its 20th Daily Grill restaurant, located in Santa Monica's professional and entertainment district in the Colorado Center. The newest Daily Grill, situated at the intersection of Colorado Avenue and 26th, joins a host of entertainment/media heavyweights -- including MTV, CBS Enterprises and soon-to-be Yahoo.com -- as tenants of the 15-acre complex, owned and managed by Equity Office Properties Trust, the nation's largest publicly held real estate investment Trust. The Colorado Center encompasses six buildings and more than one million square feet of office and retail space in an open air campus featuring outside walkways amid lush landscaping. Grill Concepts opened the doors to its 7,500-plus square-foot Santa Monica Daily Grill to welcoming crowds of both corporate and residential guests. The new $2.2 million restaurant, including the bar and patio, seats nearly 240. It also features two side-by-side private dining rooms that already have accommodated a number of corporate lunches and private events. The company has a 15-year lease with options on the property.
