International DisplayWorks, Inc. (IDW) (NASDAQ:IDWK) today announced the appointment of Mr. Dwight D. Boliek as Vice President, Materials. Mr. Boliek joins IDW most recently from Dell Corporation. At Dell, Mr. Boliek served as Director of Worldwide Procurement where he was responsible for development and execution of long-term strategies to drive improvements in total supply chain performance including quality, inventory turns and predictability while reducing costs. During his nine years at Dell, Mr. Boliek lead cross functional commodity teams comprised of engineering, marketing, quality, manufacturing and procurement professionals for numerous commodities including displays. Mr. Boliek also led the integration of Dell's product development IT infrastructure into an automated product lifecycle management system. Before joining Dell, Mr. Boliek spent eleven years at Electronic Data Systems in Plano, TX as Senior Operations Manager, where he was responsible for development of business deals for Compute, Midrange (Servers) and Telecommunications technical solutions. Previously, Mr. Boliek spent three years in Saudi Arabia as a Senior Engineer where he lead various design and construction projects to modernize terminals for storing refined chemicals. Mr. Boliek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of North Texas.
