Parlux Fragrances, Inc. (NASDAQ: PARL) announced today that it plans to release its annual results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2009 after the market closes on Thursday, May 21, 2009. The Company intends to file its Form 10-K shortly thereafter.

Mr. Neil J. Katz, Chairman and CEO, noted that, "The Company significantly reduced variable costs in the final quarter of the year and returned to profitability. We have positioned ourselves for controlled growth in the current fiscal year. Our investment in the U.S. department store segment of our business is expected to pay off as we move through our launch schedule for the current year, which includes Queen Latifah, Marc Ecko, Josie Natori, and Nicole Miller, along with new offerings from Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson. We do not anticipate launching fragrances under our newly acquired Rhianna and Kanye West licenses until our fiscal 2011 (summer 2010)."
