Aon Promotes Paul Hagy To Treasurer

CHICAGO, June 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Aon Corporation

and consulting services, today announced the appointment of Paul
Hagy as Corporate Treasurer. Hagy, who previously held the position
of Vice President, Investments and Treasury, replaces Diane

will report to Christa Davies, Executive Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer, and will be responsible for capital management,
money and capital markets, financial risk management, cash
management, bank and rating agency relationships, and operational
risk management. He also will work on long-range corporate planning
activities. "As CFO, I am focusing on capital management, working
with our business unit leaders to drive further growth, and
improving the efficiency of Aon's global finance organization,"
Davies said. "Paul's extensive corporate treasury and finance
experience will enhance our team's ability to drive business
decisions and improve the quality of management information so that

who has 18 years of corporate treasury and finance experience at
four Fortune 500 companies, joined Aon in 2002 as Assistant
Treasurer, where he was responsible for the management of financial
risks, short-term investments, and global financial counterparty
exposure. Previously, he served in corporate treasury positions at
GE Capital Corporation, Heller Financial, and Household
International. Hagy holds a masters degree from the University of
Chicago Graduate School of Business, and a bachelor of arts degree
