Simone, CPCU, has joined the firm as senior vice president for Aon Risk Services. He will be based in Irvine, Calif. Prior to joining Marsh, Simone was a strategy and technology consultant with Tillinghast-Towers Perrin, consulting to global financial institutions including insurance companies, banks and investment companies. He began his insurance and financial services career in 1974 with Nationwide Insurance Company, in a 15-year career which spanned all areas of insurance underwriting, sales, marketing, operations, investments, accounting, management and operations improvement. Simone joins a distinguished team of professionals with extensive experience in representing buyers of complex insurance products, including property, casualty, workers compensation, directors and officers liability, employment practices, fiduciary liability, professional liability insurance, among other coverages. Simone earned an Executive MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif., and completed the Executive Education Program at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. He is a member of the board of directors of the Orange County Alzheimer Association and of the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Business, and an active member of the NASD, RMIS, CPCU, California Trucking Association and several other industry associations. Simone was previously active with the Orange County United Way, American Jaycees, City of Anaheim Chamber of Commerce, and Council of Ethics in Economics.
