Winthrop Realty Trust Declares Dividend on Its 9.25% Series D Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Shares

Winthrop Realty Trust (NYSE:FUR) ("Winthrop") today announced that
its Board of Trustees has declared a dividend for the fourth
quarter of 2011 of $0.211979 per 9.25% Series D Cumulative
Redeemable Preferred Share (the "Series D Shares") payable on
December 30, 2011 to Series D Shareholders of record on December
27, 2011. The dividend represents the pro-rated dividend for the
period from the issuance date of the Series D Shares through
December 31, 2011.
