today announced that it has signed an agreement to establish a new
European Data Centre in France,
selecting Interxion, a leading European provider of cloud and
carrier-neutral data centre services, as its service provider. The
new data centre in France is one
of three planned for Europe and
will support the company's growing base of customers across the
region. Salesforce.com's European Data Centre in France will be powered 100 percent by
renewable energy sources.

Company to Open Three European Data Centres
Salesforce.com's European Data Center in France is part of the company's plan to open
three data centres in Europe to
support adoption of salesforce.com's cloud computing services among
its growing base of customers in Europe. The first of the company's European
Data Centres will open in the U.K. this fall, with data centres in
France and Germany to follow in 2015.
