Nordstrom Rack at 1600 Commons in Fort
Lauderdale, Fla. The 36,000-square-foot store is scheduled
to open in fall 2016. 1600 Commons is being developed by Halvorsen

Thomas, president of Nordstrom Rack.
"We believe the new Rack will be an ideal location for customers
living in and visiting Fort
Lauderdale."
When it opens it will be the ninth Nordstrom Rack in South Florida. The company recently opened a

will open its eighth location in the spring of 2015 at the Shops at
Midtown Miami.
"We are excited about the addition of a state of the art
