Lion Electric, U.S. Energy Dept to Collaborate on EV-Charging Infrastructure

Lion Electric Co. said Wednesday that it has signed a nonbinding
agreement with U.S. Energy Department to explore the development
and integration of electric-vehicle-charging infrastructure into
the country's energy grid.
The Canadian manufacturer of all-electric commercial vehicles
said that under the terms of the memorandum of understanding, it
will collaborate with a number of other industry leaders including
utilities, original equipment manufacturers, government agencies
and labor organizations.
The company said it will also focus on cybersecurity around
vehicle-to-everything technologies, a communication system between
vehicles and other moving parts of the traffic system.
