NEW YORK (Dow Jones) -- NYSE Euronext's (NYX) Amex exchange experienced an issue disseminating trade and quote information in some Nasdaq-listed stocks Wednesday morning.

The issue, which was resolved as of 9:50 a.m. EDT, impacted the trades and quotes on NYSE Amex in Nasdaq-listed stocks in the alphabetic range from A through KBZ. NYSE Amex options were not affected for those securities, according to Raymond Pellecchia Jr., vice president of corporate communications at NYSE Euronext.

Pellecchia said he had no details on the cause of the glitch at this time.

Traders said the effect of the issue was relatively small because when they have trouble sending orders to one exchange, they will simply route those orders elsewhere.

"As far as dealing with customer flow or anything in our business, it's not really been a huge issue for us," said Keith Bliss, director of sales and marketing at Cuttone & Co. "We're able to go to the other venues to get [trades] done."
