"We are delighted to work with our knowledge partner Corporate
Board Member to produce 'Governance Minutes'," said Society
President and CEO Kenneth A.
Bertsch. "We hope to interview people representing the
entire spectrum of governance issues, for the benefit of our
members from companies large and small. We look forward to
promoting professional development by getting in front of issues
that challenge us."
Darla Stuckey, SVP, Policy and
Advocacy at the Society, added: "The topics discussed on
'Governance Minutes', such as succession planning,
shareholder relations, using technology in the board room or at the
annual meeting, will help our members and potential members in
educating their boards on current topics and best practices."
TK Kerstetter, President of Corporate Board Member and co-host
of its weekly board issues web program, 'This Week in the
Boardroom,' says there is great value in producing an ongoing
web show that provides timely, need-to-know information in an
accessible format. "Corporate Board Member looks forward to
collaborating with the Society as a knowledge partner to create
relevant content addressing the changing landscape of corporate
governance at a time when corporate regulation is a focal point of
government agencies, corporations and the private sector.
Since its launch more than two years ago, we have received a great
deal of positive feedback and increasing viewership for 'This
Week in the Boardroom'. We are certain the same success and
value will be realized by the viewers of 'Governance
Minutes'."
