At InfoComm 2011, the company introduced numerous new products, including new LCD and plasma displays for digital signage, conference room and 3D applications; professional projectors for a wide range of venues, HDTV production solutions and a new Toughbook® mobile computer.

Projectors for all Venues and Applications

Highlighting its commitment to innovation in professional projectors and recent collaborations with Sanyo, Panasonic unveiled a variety of new projectors for a wide range of applications, including education, hospitality, entertainment and healthcare. These new Panasonic projectors offer customers a choice of resolutions and aspect ratios for a spectrum of fixed and mobile installations. New Panasonic projector products released at InfoComm include:

  • PT-EX16KU & PT-VW330: The PT-EX16KU and PT-VW330 Series projectors are the first Panasonic offerings developed in collaboration with Sanyo. These devices integrate innovative technologies from both companies. The PT-EX16KU LCD projector features 16,000 lumens of brightness, XGA resolution and is ideal for large venue deployments. The PT-VW330 Series projectors, available in three different models, PT-VW330U (3,000lm, WXGA resolution), PT-VX400U (4,000lm, XGA resolution) and PT-VX400NTU (4,000lm, XGA resolution, network ready), will be added to the portable projector portfolio.
  • PT-DW730 & PT-DX800: Panasonic has added two new 1-Chip DLP™ projectors with enhanced brightness in its best-selling D6000 Series. The PT-DW730US (7,000lm, WXGA resolution) and PT-DX800US (8,000lm, XGA resolution) have been engineered with a new lamp drive system for increased brightness and a new Eco Filter for less maintenance, making the projector perfect for use in higher education, museums and also applications that require 24/7 operation.
  • 3D Home Theater Projector: Panasonic has announced the development of 3D Ready Full HD home theater projector – the successor model to its award-winning PT-AE4000U.

Professional Display and Digital Signage Solutions

Purpose-built professional LCD and plasma displays are a cornerstone of Panasonic’s commitment to professional AV. Panasonic announced the following new professional displays at InfoComm 2011:

  • LFP30 and LFT30: The Panasonic LFT30 and LFP30-Series Professional LCD Displays are built as reliable indoor and outdoor display solutions distinguished by high brightness, slim design, low power consumption, light weight and a wide range of professional features. The LFP30-Series is ideal for outdoor locations because of its ability to withstand high temperatures, heavy rains and dust. The LFT30 Series outdoor capable LCD, with its integrated touch capability is a perfect solution for applications that require a fast, accurate, reliable touch response.
  • LF30 Series: The new Panasonic LF30 Professional LCD Displays offer exceptional brightness that accurately conveys information even in areas with high-levels of ambient light. Available in 42” & 47”, the series is ideal for open spaces, like shopping malls and transportation depots and comes equipped with Panasonic’s original function slots, allowing users to change interfaces or internal computers quickly and easily depending on the signal source.
  • PF30 Series: The Panasonic PF30 Series is the company’s latest line of 1080p Professional Plasma Displays, which are known for exceptional image quality, energy efficiency, crisp, smooth playback of images, deep, rich blacks and reliability. The PF30 Series now delivers 3D capabilities. The series is available in four models, the 42-inch TH-42PF30U, the 50-inch TH-50PF30U, the 60-inch TH-60PF30U and the 65-inch TH-65PF30U.

HD Video Acquisition and Production Solutions

Panasonic is introducing a number of new professional video production and acquisition technologies targeting the education, houses of worship, community media centers, cable access channels and other markets. New solutions to be highlighted at InfoComm include:

  • HDTV Producer: The Panasonic HDTV Producer is an affordable, all-inclusive, professional video studio system priced below $20,000. Easy to set-up and operate, HDTV Producer addresses the production and budgetary parameters of churches, schools, colleges, community media centers, cable access channels, training centers, or any facility looking for a low-cost, intuitive, HDTV production system.
  • Weatherproof Camera Housing: Panasonic will introduce eight new weatherproof and vandal-resistant outdoor camera solutions based on the company's AW-HE50 integrated HD/SD pan-tilt cameras. These solutions are ideal for use as tower cams, weather cams, traffic cams and in sports facilities, as well as remote HD/SD acquisition in a wide range of conditions and applications.

Toughbook® Mobile Computers

Toughbook® mobile computers are renowned for their reliability and depended upon by users who require access to data in a wide range of environments. At InfoComm, Panasonic will announce the newest member of the Toughbook family. Details on this new Toughbook mobile computer will be made available on June 16, 2011.
