Panasonic System Networks Company of America today announced receipt of BERTL's coveted "Outstanding" ranking for its Panafax UF-5500 high-speed, enhanced-security, business-class super G3 laser fax, print and scan product.

BERTL, a global leader in independent evaluation reports and comparative analyses of digital imaging products and workflow solutions, cited the UF-5500 for "exceptional" copy and print resolution, user-friendly controls and accessibility, "excellent built-in service and support," and high-speed automatic document feeding and print output.

Summing up their in-depth 22-page evaluation of the Panafax UF-5500's document handling performance, network functions, ease of use, and maintenance procedures, BERTL's technicians called the UF-5500 as "ideal for any size office or workgroups that rely on faxes for their day-to-day work." They also noted that the standard 10/100 BaseTx Ethernet Port enables the UF-5500 to be "easily used" as a network laser printer, network color scanner or a network PC fax.
