Design and Engineering Award Honoree
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 7, 2013
/PRNewswire/ -- Panasonic today announced that it has been
named an International CES Innovations 2013 Design and Engineering
Awards Honoree for its VIERA Full HD 3D TC-L55WT60. Products
entered in this prestigious program are judged by a preeminent
panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and
members of the media to honor outstanding design and engineering in
cutting-edge consumer electronics products across 29 product

The Panasonic VIERA TC-L55WT60 HDTV achieves the ultimate in
advanced design with its evolving IPS viewing angle, more than
double the backlight scanning motion of last year's WT50 model,
superior contrast ratio, Energy Star 6.0 certification and narrow
metal bezel, all in a stunning Full HD 3D display.
The TC-L55WT60 continues to represent Panasonic's forward

IPS viewing angle in any points (brightness, color and contrast),
twice back light scanning motion, improved contrast ratio based on
much finer local dimming control, and narrow metal bezel, the
TC-L55WT60 achieves the ultimate in modern design and technology.
The WT60 features a minimalist design emphasizing a "floating
image" form factor that blends into any living space.
"Panasonic is honored to be recognized for the VIERA Full HD 3D
TC-L55WT60 as a CES Innovations 2013 Design and Engineering
honoree," said Henry Hauser, Vice

consumer products, and we will continue to improve our picture
quality and design for the ultimate viewing experience."

resolution and a wide viewing angle for crisp and superior picture
quality. The 2D-3D conversion, transforms 2D content to 3D images
in real-time, and local dimming and clear panel pro further enhance
picture quality. The TC-L55WT60 also features three HDMI
ports, allowing for 3D video and audio features. In addition,
VIERA Connect has the ability to access applications across the
globe, creating a more personalized viewing experience. The WT60
also features a built in Wireless LAN and web browser
enabling consumers to access the internet from their TV, a Dual
Core with Hexa Processing Engine and Panasonic's first-ever
