that its newly launched international version of 360 Mobile
Security for the Android operating system has received AV-Test
certification, obtaining a 100% malware detection rate and 0% false
positive rate during the certification process.
The mobile AV-Test certification is an internationally
recognized comparative testing process designed to assess the
strength of mobile security applications based on a variety of
performance criteria.
Under the AV-Test criteria, applications receive scores based on
the "protection" category, which comprises malware detection
results, and the "usability" category, which includes performance
and false positives.
360 Mobile Security, which is supported by the strength
of its innovative dual core 360 QVS and cloud-based scanning
engines, earned a perfect score of 6 out of 6 in the performance
category, compared to an average detection rate that corresponds to
3.5 points.
