The Timken Company (NYSE: TKR) has received an order in the low-multimillion-dollar range to provide large-bore tapered roller bearings for a new high-precision aluminum rolling mill under construction in Northwest China. Timken designed a bearing solution for Qinghai Ping�an High Precision Aluminum Co. Ltd., which is constructing the new mill in Ping�an, Qinghai province. The customer will install Timken� bearings in the roll-neck position of the hot strip mill.
