Communication to Utility Partners:
Vivint Solar will be a part
of Sunrun in early October.
Better together: Vivint Solar will soon officially be a Sunrun company
A couple of months ago we announced that Sunrun would be acquiring Vivint Solar. We are excited to let you know that the acquisition will be finalized in
early October. Until that time, Vivint Solar and Sunrun will continue to operate as independent competitors.
We wanted to clarify that this is not a
contractor change. Vivint Solar will continue to exist after the acquisition as a subsidiary of Sunrun and currently has no plans to abandon or discontinue its licenses. As such, we will still be a participant in all current programs as Vivint
Solar. Additionally, key information like license numbers and EINs are not changing.
One important change that you will need to be aware of is that
correspondence will begin to come from a Sunrun email address after the acquisition closes. We ask that you please continue to communicate and progress Vivint Solar accounts forward as usual.
If you would like more information about the acquisition, feel free to check our press release. If you have any additional questions, you can contact
us by calling 385-497-7424
