Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners L.P. (TSX:BEP.UN)(NYSE:BEP) ("Brookfield Renewable") today announced that the Record Date for its third quarter distribution of US$0.3625 per unit, payable on October 31, 2013, will be the close of business on October 7, 2013. The Record Date was amended from September 30, 2013. There is no change to the payment date or amount.

Distribution Reinvestment Plan

Brookfield Renewable maintains a Distribution Reinvestment Plan ("DRIP") which allows holders of its limited partnership units who are resident in Canada to acquire additional units by reinvesting all or a portion of their cash distributions without paying commissions.
