Daylight Energy Mourns the Passing of Board Member Gordon Stollery

Daylight Energy Ltd. ("Daylight" or the "Corporation") (TSX:DAY)
today mourns the passing of Gordon Stollery, a member of Daylight's
Board of Directors. Mr. Stollery passed away on December 12, 2011
at the age of 64 while on vacation in the British Virgin Islands.
Stollery, a former director and founder of Highpine Oil & Gas
Limited, joined the Board of Directors following Daylight's
acquisition of Highpine in October 2009.
