Board of Directors today announced the appointment of Michael Mosher as President and Chief Executive
Officer of FortisAlberta, effective September 15, 2018.

new President and CEO of FortisAlberta," said Roger Thomas, Chair of the Board of Directors,
FortisAlberta. "Michael has more than 25 years of utility and
energy industry experience that will prove beneficial in leading
FortisAlberta and its team of approximately 1,200 employees."
Michael has been President and CEO of Fortis-owned Central
Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation since 2016 where he has
overall responsibility for corporate, electric and natural gas
business operations in the State of New
York. Central Hudson is a
regulated transmission and distribution utility serving
approximately 380,000 customers in the Hudson River Valley; it delivers natural gas and
electricity in a 6,700-square-kilometre service territory that
extends from the suburbs of metropolitan New York City north to the Capital District at
Albany.
Michael completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical
Engineering at Union College and held
several progressively responsible positions at Central Hudson and its affiliates, including
Vice President, Engineering and Energy Services at Central Hudson
Enterprises and Vice President, Regulatory Affairs at Central
Hudson. He serves on the board of Newfoundland Power Inc. in
Newfoundland and Labrador, and is an avid community volunteer,
holding positions with a local business council, economic
development council and a university foundation.
