Auriga Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:AIA) ("Auriga Gold" or the "Company") closes the
second and final tranche of its previously announced non-brokered private
placement for total gross proceeds of approximately $624,400 and the issuance of
3,672,942 units of the Company (the "Units") at $0.17 per Unit. Each Unit
consists of one common share of the Company and one common share purchase
warrant (a "Warrant"). Each Warrant will entitle the holder to acquire one
common share of the Company at the exercise price of $0.25 per share for a
period of 24 months from the closing date of the Offering.  


Common shares and Warrants issued in the second tranche are subject to a hold
period expiring on December 1, 2012 and are subject to a cash commission plus
agent warrants for a period of 18 months. The Warrants issued in the first
tranche of the Offering expire on July 30, 2014.  


The Offering remains subject to the final approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.  

Proceeds of the Offering will be used for the planned development of the
Company's Maverick Gold Project, Flin Flon, Manitoba, as well as general working
capital.
