VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Dec 27, 2013) - Anfield Nickel Corp. (TSX-VENTURE:ANF) (the "Company") announces that it has amended its Stock Option Plan (the "Plan") to increase the number of common shares issuable under the Plan by 1,200,000 common shares to a maximum of 4,300,000 common shares, in addition to other ancillary amendments.

The Company has granted incentive stock options under the Plan to certain directors, officers, employees and consultants of the Company to purchase up to an aggregate of 665,000 common shares in the capital stock of the Company. The options are exercisable at a price of $1.50 per share, will expire on December 27, 2018, and will vest in three equal parts over the first two years after grant.
