Arco Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:ARR)(FRANKFURT:MJ7) ("Arco" or the "Company")
announces that it has agreed to a cash settlement of its lawsuit against Mayan
Minerals Ltd., Kee Nez Resources, LLC and Mr. Terry Heard (see news release
dated November 3, 2008). The lawsuit arose in connection with the payment of
land registration and maintenance fees and expenses on mining claims located
near the Dolores Anticline in the State of Colorado. These claims were the
subject of a letter of intent under which Atomic proposed to option them from
Mayan and Kee Nez. As part of the settlement, Mayan also agreed to drop its
counterclaim against Arco.

State of Oaxaca, Mexico. The Company has begun to focus its efforts on its
Taviche and Predilecta claim blocks, each of which has had historical production
of gold and silver. The Company currently has agreements in principle to option
