VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Feb 18, 2014) - Banks Island Gold Ltd. (the "Company") (TSX-VENTURE:BOZ) announces that it will not be completing the financing transaction with Global Resources Investments Ltd. (the "GRIL"), previously announced by news release on January 23rd, 2014. The conditions to completion of the subscription agreement were not met before the Long Stop Date of February 14th and the subscription obligation contemplated by the Subscription Agreement has accordingly expired.
