Finding stores, brands, and products within South Edmonton Common has been made
significantly easier thanks to a major upgrade to Visionstate Inc.'s iPhone app
for the popular power center located in Edmonton, Alberta.


To improve the app's wayfinding capabilities, Visionstate Inc., a division of
CSM Systems Corp. (TSX VENTURE:CKX), leveraged Google maps with color coded
overlays to make it that much simpler for shoppers to find what they are looking
for in the 320 acre development.


"We are very pleased with the upgrades to the South Edmonton Common app as an
information and navigational tool, and hope it will further enhance the shopping
experience of patrons to the centre," said Tony Rota, Director of Marketing for
Cameron Developments Corporation.


"The upgrades to the South Edmonton Common app are characterized by leveraging
the power of Google Maps technology to make it easier for users to locate
stores, and find their way there. Users are able to toggle a traffic overlay to
see which roads are congested and can help them plan a little better to get to
their destination as painlessly as possible," added David Hughes, Director of

The iPhone app for South Edmonton Common has experienced thousands of downloads
since its original launch in December 2010. Along with wayfinding the app also
features a powerful search engine that enables shoppers to find restaurants,
entertainment, products and brands throughout the development.


To further enhance wayfinding, Visionstate Inc. is now working with Cameron
Development Corporation to install site-based wayfinding in key locations
throughout the centre.

touchscreen applications, the software can be used in diverse settings,
including recreation centers, schools, shopping centers, washrooms and food
courts to name a few.
