Comstock Metals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:CSL) (the "Company") announces that following
its closing of 2,352,941 flow-through common shares at a price of $0.17 per
share for gross proceeds of $400,000, it plans to close up to an additional
3,529,412 flow-through shares at a price of $0.17 for gross proceeds of up to
$600,000. The proceeds will be used for the Phase 2 drilling program on its QV
project, in the Yukon.


In connection with the closing, the Company will pay finder's fees subject to
regulatory approval.


The proceeds of the placement will be used by the Company to incur eligible
Canadian Exploration Expenses, as defined by the Income Tax Act (Canada). The
securities issued pursuant to the Offering will be subject to a four month hold
period.
