Freeport Capital Inc. Announces Completion of Private Placement

NOT FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES

Freeport Capital Inc. ("Freeport") (NEX BOARD:F.H), a capital pool company
listed on the NEX board of the TSX Venture Exchange, is pleased to announce that
it has completed a non-brokered private placement of 1,700,000 common shares at
$0.05 per share for proceeds of $85,000. A finder's fee will be paid to a
certain individual consisting of 100,000 common shares of Freeport. All
securities issued in connection with the financing will be subject to a four (4)
month hold period under applicable securities legislation.
