GREENLIGHT RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:GR)(OTCBB:PRZCF)(FRANKFURT:PH0) is
pleased to announce that it has acquired by staking, the Tomahawk Manganese
property located 22 kilometres west of the village of Sunny Corners New
Brunswick. The manganese (Mn) prospect at Tomahawk Ridge was discovered by Bev
Stewart in 1976. He subsequently staked claims to cover the showing and optioned
the ground to Heath Steele Mines. They carried out a program of surface channel
sampling and mineral separation work in order to determine the manganese
potential of property. The property was subsequently acquired by Noranda in 1979
for its base metal potential but no further exploration was conducted on the
property.

The channel sampling work indicated that the mineralized zone runs 9.67% Mn and
9.33% Fe over a width of 40 feet (12 meters). Individual grab samples of the
zone vary between 6% and 17.6 % Mn with the Fe content decreasing as Mn grades
go up. The mineralization occurs as breccia infilling in chert or quartz
porphyry at the contact between massive andesite to the north and siltstone to
the south. Limited mineral identification has been done but the main Mn bearing
minerals are manganite, pyrolusite and rhodonite. A similar quartz porphyry
horizon, some 500 meters to the west contains disseminated galena and sphalerite
but no assays have been done on this rock to date. Readers are cautioned that
the above assay results are from the 1970's and have not yet been independently
verified by current assay methods and therefore, may not be representative.

A total of 52 claims (2,080 acres) were staked at Tomahawk Ridge to cover the Mn
showing and the prospective base metal-bearing quartz porphyry horizon.

Manganese is essential to iron and steel production by virtue of its
sulfur-fixing, deoxidizing, and alloying properties. Steelmaking, including its
iron-making component, accounts for most domestic manganese demand, presently in
the range of 85% to 90% of the total. Manganese ferroalloys, consisting of
various grades of ferromanganese and silicomanganese, are used to provide most
of this key ingredient to steelmaking. Products for construction, machinery, and
transportation are leading end uses of manganese. Manganese also is a key
component of certain widely used aluminum alloys and, in oxide form, dry cell
batteries.
