MONTREAL, Nov. 25, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - IFL Investment Foundation (Canada) Limited ("IFL" or the "Corporation") announces that its Board of Directors has called a Special Meeting of Shareholders to be held on December 19, 2011 (the "Meeting") for the purpose of adopting a Special Resolution approving its dissolution (the "Special Resolution"). The Board of Directors mailed today a Notice of Meeting, its Management Information Circular dated November 25, 2011 and a form of Proxy to all Shareholders of the Corporation of record on November 17, 2011. The Meeting will be held at 11 a.m. on December 19, 2011 at the head office of the Corporation, Place du Canada, 1010 de la Gauchetière Street West, Suite 1900, Montreal, Québec, H3B 2N2. To be adopted, the Special Resolution will require the affirmative vote of a majority of two thirds (2/3) of the votes cast at the Meeting, whether by proxy or in person. The management of the Corporation recommends that the Shareholders vote in favour of the Special Resolution approving the dissolution. IFL is a closed-end investment corporation whose common shares are listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol IF.
