Maestro Ventures Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: MAP) ("Maestro" or the "Company") announces that today the Company has appointed Mr. Mark Achtemichuk, CA, CFA as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Achtemichuk was first admitted to the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2001 and has since gone on to receive his charter from the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute. Mr. Achtemichuk has spent most of his professional career providing audit and M&A advisory services to private and publicly traded companies with KPMG LLP in Vancouver and Los Angeles. He worked as the head of Operations, Finance and Accounting for real estate developer Bayview Properties Ltd. and is the principal of MSA Holdings Inc., an advisory company that provides financial advisory services, accounting, reporting and financing assistance to real estate development and publicly listed companies in British Columbia.

The board would like to thank Mr. Ronnie Doman for his years of service to the company as CFO. Mr. Doman has stepped down to pursue his other business interests.
