THETFORD MINES, QC, June 1, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Mazarin inc. announced today that during its Annual Meeting of Shareholders held on May 19, 2016 in Brossard, Quebec, Mr. Serge Huppé was elected to the Board of Directors in replacement of Mr. Paul Landry. This change was formally accepted and took effect on May 19, 2016.

Mr. Paul Landry was elected to Mazarin's Board of Directors on May 27, 2004 and he also chaired the Audit Committee. On May 19, 2016, he decided not to seek a new mandate.

Mr. Serge Huppé is an accredited professional accountant. In the course of his career, he has been employed by Norsk-Hydro and has held several management positions in Canada, Europe and the US. Amongst others, he was Vice President Business Improvement of Hydro Aluminum Extrusion North America and also Vice-President Finance & Administration of Precision Tubing North America. Since 2010, he is a member of advisory committees for private companies.
