VANCOUVER, April 17, 2013 /CNW/ - Pacific Topaz Resources Ltd. (TSXV - PPZ.H) (the "Company") announces that Bernadette D'Silva has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of the Company and that Gordon Keep has resigned as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary.  The Board would like to thank Mr. Keep for his services.  Mr. Keep remains as an advisor to the Company through his role with Endeavour Capital & Advisory Ltd.

In connection with the foregoing appointment and pursuant to the Company's Stock Option Plan, a total of 100,000 incentive stock options have been granted to Ms. D'Silva. The options are exercisable at a price of $0.10 per share for a period of 10 years, subject to regulatory approval.
