QMC Quantum Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:QMC) and Cassius Ventures Ltd. (TSX
VENTURE:CZ) are pleased to announce the completion of five drill holes on their
Carrot River project - one (hole no. P6) on the Bullet gold target, three holes
(P1, P2, P3) on the Bay Whopper gold zone and one hole (P12) to test the Geotech
air-borne TEM anomaly on the Nickel zone. A total of 900 to 1000 metres is
expected to be drilled to test the various targets on the property. The Carrot
River Property has been optioned to Cassius Ventures Ltd. (see Cassius' press
release dated July 27, 2010).


Bay Wopper drill holes P1, P2 and P3 were designed to intersect the shear zone
exposed on surface where previous grab sampling returned values up to 10.16 g/t
gold. All three holes intersected the shear zone. Assay results will be released
upon receipt.


The Bay Whopper zone is exposed in three small hand trenches and float over an
apparent strike length of about 100 meters in a lowland area extensively covered
by overburden and marsh. The zone remains open in all directions. Anomalous gold
values were obtained in all three exposures. Mineralization occurs in sheared,
silicified volcanics (sericitic schist) and sheared chert with locally abundant
pyrite and arsenopyrite. In the area of Trenches 1 and 2, initial grab samples
returned gold values up to 10.16 g/t gold. Chip sampling in Trench 2 returned
1.4 g/t gold over 4.5 meters (full width of trench); a 1.3 meter section across
a sulphide-rich portion of the trench assayed 4.3 g/t gold. Trench 1 returned
178 ppb gold over the full 8-meter width of the trench, including 4 meters of
280 ppb gold. Hand Trench 3 is located about 75 meters east, along strike of
Trenches 1 and 2. Seven consecutive 1-meter chip samples collected across the
trench return values between 39 ppb and 1550 ppb gold with an overall average of
640 ppb gold.
