SCD Scandium Canada Ltd

Samoth Oilfield Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SCD) ("Samoth" or the "Corporation") has
issued, subject to regulatory approval, 1,000,000 common share purchase options,
of which 900,000 have been granted to directors and officers and 100,000 have
been granted to a consulting company. The options are exercisable at a price of
$0.055 per share for a period of 10 years from the date of grant. 


The Corporation has determined that exemptions from the various requirements of
TSX Venture Exchange Policy 5.9 are available for the granting of the options.


Neither the TSX Venture Exchange nor its Regulation Services Provider (as that
term is defined in the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange) accepts
