Vecta Energy Corporation ("Vecta") (TSX VENTURE:VER) today released its
financial and operating results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2011. The
unaudited financial statements, notes and Management's Discussion and Analysis
are available on Vecta's website at www.vectaenergy.com or on SEDAR at
www.sedar.com.


Vecta also announces that the Secured Loan has been extended to coincide with
the term of the Joint Venture Agreement.


BOE's may be misleading, particularly if used in isolation. A BOE conversion
ratio of 6 thousand cubic feet to 1 barrel of oil is based on an energy
equivalency conversion method primarily applicable at the burner tip and does
not represent a value equivalency at the wellhead.
