Vecta Energy Corporation (TSX VENTURE:VER) ("Vecta" or the "Company") regrets to
advise that negotiations with Vecta Oil & Gas, Ltd. ("VOG") for participation in
the Montana joint venture have failed to reach a positive conclusion and the
Joint Venture Agreement dated March 8, 2011 will be allowed to expire on August
31, 2011.


The Directors of Vecta will be meeting later this week to discuss alternative
strategies for the future of the Company.
