Kingspan Group PLC (KGP.LN), an international manufacturer of a range of sustainable building solutions for the construction industry, said Thursday Geoff Doherty will be joining the group as chief financial officer designate next year.

MAIN FACTS:

-Doherty will join the Board as an executive director when taking up his new role Jan. 1, 2011, and will succeed Dermot Mulvihill as chief financial officer following Mulvihill's planned retirement later in 2011.

-Doherty is currently the chief financial officer of Greencore Group PLC (GCG.DB).

-Shares of Kingspan Group at 1433 GMT down 1.48 pence or 0.33%, at 453.7 pence, valuing the company at GBP903 million.

-Shares closed Thursday at 447.19 pence.
