(PINKSHEETS: SLLN) subsidiary, Linux Labs International, Inc., today unveils a strategy to tackle the underserved scientific community with a new Software as a Service ("SaaS") platform, commencing with a solution for the NIST FDS fire dynamics simulator. Although currently in alpha and testing with a limited number of clients, the service is targeted to fully launch in the first quarter of next year.

A recent International Data Corporation (IDC) study shows that the Software as a Service (SaaS) market had worldwide revenues of $13.1 billion in 2009. IDC forecasts the market to reach $40.5 billion by 2014, representing a compound annual growth rate of 25.3%.
